About Girlington Garage
Girlington Garage was founded in 2009 by Demeny Pollitt to provide high-quality automotive service built on transparency, respect, and quality. After years in male-dominated shops where she saw customers being treated with condescension or confusion, Demeny decided to create a different kind of environment.
We believe you shouldn’t need technical experience to understand your car’s health. Our goal is always the same: to cut through the jargon and ensure you leave feeling confident, informed, and respected. Many shops only look at the specific problem you called about. At Girlington, our technicians are trained to perform a comprehensive health check on every car that comes in. We are looking for ways to keep you safe and fully aware of your vehicle's needs.
Our shop is designed to take care of you. While dropping off your vehicle for the day, make yourself at home with organic coffee to go, free Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, and magazines. To keep you moving while we work, we offer complimentary loaner vehicles. Our goal is to make your experience as smooth as possible from start to finish.

Owner - She/Her
Demeny is a graduate of Vermont Technical College and the Women’s Small Business Program. She started Girlington Garage to provide high quality automotive service coupled with a focus on clear communication and honest business practices. When she’s not hanging out at the shop, she’s gardening, exploring the woods, looking for delicious mushrooms, and chillin’ with her two kitties.
Max B.
Technician - He/Him
Max is our resident hybrid/EV specialist, having just completed training and certification through AC/DC Training Center. When he’s not fixing your cars, he’s hunting mushrooms, avoiding clowns, and working on his beautiful old house with his partner. It’s a full house with their two kids, two dogs and the chickens. He’s not lactose intolerant, but he is a celiac, so keep those tasty delights wheat-free!
Andres P.
Technician - He/Him
While he started out professionally as an electrician, Andres has been working on cars his whole life! He loves figuring out how things work, and then making them work better. He can take a car apart down to the nuts and bolts, put it all back together, and have it running smoother than ever. When he's not here making your car better, he's spending time with his wonderful wife and beautiful children. He's always looking for something to fix, and he spends a lot of his weekends lending a helping hand to other people trying to fix things, too.

Service Manager - She/Her
A decade ago, Nya entered the auto world with one goal: solve the problem. Today, that passion drives her to cut through the confusion and get people exactly what their vehicle needs! She delivers expert solutions with a patient understanding and zero-judgment empathy. When she's not here ensuring things run smoothly, she's exploring with her son and husband. And yes, she's also the resident tarot expert!
Brody T.
Technician - They/Them
Brody learned to fix cars by working on their parent's 2002 two-tone green Subaru Outback. Good thing they did, because it became their first car! And they've been fixing cars ever since. When they’re not at Girlington taking care of your car, Brody is a creative monster! They love dyeing clothes, painting shoes and basically making all things look beautiful. Not only that, but they love performing and they’re in a couple of local bands. Maybe you’ll see them killing it around town! When they want a little peace and quiet, they love to go camping and spend some time out in the world.
